Android Assistant is a package containing a variety of modules that seek to improve the performance of your mobile device. These modules are separated using different tabs displayed inside the intuitive user interface. You can monitor the load placed on the CPU and RAM right inside the window. Moreover, you can kill processes that use too many resources as long as they are not important for your Android device.
In case you don't have any idea which ones to kill and which to leave alone, the app provides two functions called Auto Boost and Quick Boost. You can add your favorite apps inside the Ignore List if you don't want them to be killed by Android Assistant itself. Inside the Tools tab you will find a collection of components which handle different tasks.
For example, you can use the System Clean tool in order to get rid of unnecessary items such as log files, empty folders, browser history, cache, empty files, and so on. Once this tool was used, you might notice that your device has more free space. Another rather important feature is the Startup Manager. Using this component you can disable certain apps from running at OS launch.
