F-Stop Gallery is a third party gallery application which replaces the standard solution available with your Android smartphone or tablet. Straight away, you will notice a very intuitive layout design where you can easily access all your photos and albums. This app provides a feature that is not available in many other gallery apps out there, and i'm talking about being able to pick from a couple of UI themes that will change the layout design a bit here and there.

The integrated search component is rather important because it allows you to look through all your photos to find items based on name of file, camera model, ratings, and so on. Thanks to its collaboration with Google maps, you can now browse your photo collection by using a map. This feature works by reading the location where you were at the moment of taking each individual photo and it displays them on a map.

Another cool side of F-Stop Gallery is the fact that you're allowed to save ratings and tags in the XMP format, making them handy when loading photos in programs like Windows Live Photo Gallery, Picasa, Lightroom, and so on.
