The application allows its users to create notes about detected devices and even to assign them icons.

The download and upload speeds will be checked along latency as well. Inside the interface you can find a list containing speed scores for different internet service providers in your area and you can use this information to get a better connection.

In addition, you can tell Fing to monitor your network and to alert you in real-time when intruders are detected. Furthermore, this application comes with other modules that handle port scanning, DNS lookup, tracerout and device ping.
