The board and the gameplay

If you've played Monopoly before, you probably already know how many pieces this game has. Allow me to mention them here: the board, money in bills of various amounts, two dices, multiple tokens to represent the players involved in the game, 12 hotels, 32 houses, a deck of cards containing 32 Chance and Community Chest cards, and title deeds for each property. A match starts with a minimum number of 2 players and a maximum of 8. However, I'm telling you from my own experience to play in rounds with at least four players involved in the game because it's more fun and exciting. For example, auctioning is better with more participants.

Mobile replica of the well-known board game

The gameplay in this mobile version is no different from the original board game. We have the board, the players with their tokens and money, so let's roll the dice by shaking the smartphone. The number of tiles we can move on the board clockwise is directly related to the number of points we get when rolling dices. It's a situation of luck sometimes because you can end up in the wrong location even if you get 10 points, for example. Each time the player lands in a box without an owner, he can spend money to purchase that property. If he lands in private property (another player already owns it), he has to pay a specific amount of money to its owner.

When someone arrives in an unowned location but refuses to buy it, the game starts an auction in which everybody can participate. All players get to roll the dices in turns decided by a previous dice rolling event. A player is out of the game when he runs out of money. The Monopoly board also contains special zones known as Chance and Community Chest. Each time you land in this location, you'll have to draw a card and see what's there. You might get some money from the bank or go to jail. If you get the prison time card, you can't play one set of dice rolling.

Another neat feature of this mobile game is the ability to customize its rules to avoid boredom. Change a few settings here and there to maintain yourself in the game's active player base.
