AllCast is a handy piece of software which lets you stream content stored on your smartphone or tablet to your Android TV, Chromecast, Xbox 360 and Xbox One video gaming consoles, Roku, Apple TV, and other devices supporting DNLA rendering. After the application is launched you will notice the friendly and simplistic user interface where you can access your multimedia content such as photos, music and videos.
In order to send something to your TV you will have to be sure that both devices involved are located inside the same local network. Just select a video file and the smart TV, gaming console, to stream that media content on a bigger screen. Something that you'll need to remember is the 5 minutes limit imposed on viewing photos and videos.
If you want to get rid of this limitation, AllCast requires the user to upgrade to a premium version. Another important feature of this software is its integration with cloud services like Google Drive and Dropbox, allowing you to work with media content stored here as long as you synchronize your accounts with this application.
