John GBA Lite is a free emulator that allows users to play video games developed for the Game Boy Advance on Android smartphones and tablets. It manages to do so by using the original GBA engine in virtual mode on your device. The nice thing about this application is that it provides a great rendering quality. In terms of layout design, the user interface rocks a straightforward style and you can easily load games.

Keep in mind that this actual emulator does not come with included video games and you will have to provide them from the storage or SD card of your device. Inside the window you will find a virtual keypad and you are allowed to customize the keys to make controls more suited to your style. A great feature is the ability to save game states and you can even use the preview function.

In case you have a controller, you can use it with this emulator application as long as it works using Bluetooth. When it comes to configuration, John GBA Lite allows its users to adjust the settings for audio, video, layout, power saving, gamepad, etc. Furthermore, you can load cheats and even take screenshots from your games.
