PlayStation Messages is the official tool released by Sony and you can use it to keep in touch with your friends from the PS Network using your Android smartphone. As you can probably expect, in order to use this application you will have to insert the details of your PSN account. Right off the bat, you will notice a friendly user interface where you can see the information divided in three different sections.

Inside the Friends window you can see a list of your friends and easily create new conversations. You can use the search box in case this list contains too many users. All your messages can be accessed inside the section wearing the same name. The instant messaging component allows users to send text and voice messages, stickers and photos to others.

You can speed up the process by adding as favorites those contacts that you're more likely to message often. Another use for this application is to keep track on when your friends are online and what they are playing at that time.
