Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 is the second installment in this horror adventure franchise. What makes this release different from the previous one? Well, it has more content, for starters. The game also feels better, more polished, and more mind-captivating than the original version. As a matter of fact, the game is 3 times larger than Chapter 1. Chapter 2 takes the entire experience to a new level.

In Poppy Playtime Chapter 2, we get to explore one of the game’s best locations: the Train Station. From here on, we can reach the playground, play games, and more. There are also new toys. For example, you can interact with Bunzo Bunny and PJ Pug-a-pillar. Maybe they have something to tell you.

Just like in the first version, our biggest help comes from the GrabPack. The red hand is now replaced with the green hand. This change allows you to store electrical power and have it at your disposal at all times, until it’s time to use some of it to complete various tasks and puzzles.

Concerning the plot, the storyline is more complex due to the game being larger than its previous version. The player’s adventure starts by waking up in the Poppy Area, but there’s a problem. Poppy is no longer there, which prompts the player to flee the room through a well-hidden white door. The player finally realizes that the factory is much larger than he thought previously. This aspect launches a campaign where the player has to face and complete multiple challenges, puzzles, and pass various hardships inside this large factory.

When it comes to controls, Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 maintains the same controls as in the previous version of the game. The characters’ movement is possible through the left joystick shown on the left side of the screen. Use this small joystick to move the player inside the factory. To control the GrabPack’s hands, press the buttons available on the right side of the interface. One button is for the blue hand, and the other button is for the green hand. If the thrilling atmosphere gets you tired and in need of a break, press the pause button available at the top right of the screen.

Another positive trait of Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 is the improved graphics. The three-dimensional environment is much more immersive now. The game features small adjustments here and there to offer a smoother experience.

Overall, this mobile game brings a strong follow-up thanks to an expanded factory environment, more toys to interact with, and smarter puzzles.
