Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 is the third installment in the popular Poppy Playtime franchise. Released in 2024 by Mob Entertainment, this game carries on the intriguing and terrifying gaming experience seen in the previous two releases.
The storyline carries on from the ending of Chapter 2, where the protagonist is left alone following a train crash. Now, the player’s mission is to travel through Playcare and restore power to the Gas Production Zone. On its way to achieve this quest, the protagonist faces multiple puzzling challenges and terrifying moments. But don’t worry. Our protagonist does not embark on this adventure alone because the well-known and essential GrabPack comes with updates. Not only that, but now we can equip a gas mask when it is time to pass through areas where red smoke fills the air.
The gameplay and game mechanics in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 are not that different from Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. As you move through the Playcare, remember to always listen to Ollie’s advice because he’s the one who knows this section best. Just like in the previous versions of this game, there are many locked doors to pass through. How do you do that? By looking around the environment and finding the hidden keys. Once you find a key, you can unlock a door and so on. As mentioned above, the mask is crucial as you move around Playcare because the red gas is almost everywhere. It is a protective device that keeps you safe from illusion effects.
Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 also brings toys that either help you or scare you. Poppy and Kissy Missy are in the game just like Miss Delight and Dogday. The infamous Huggy Wuggy is not present in the game a lot. He only causes problems when the protagonist is exposed to the red smoke.
When you're playing the game, you can use the GrabPack to solve puzzles and interact with the environment. Plus, the hands get a new feature: to shoot flares. This helps a lot when you want to see the surroundings clearly.
